Random thoughts on Thursday
Well, I had the MRT (MRI) done yesterday, and those were the loooongest 15 minutes, I tell you! Did I mention I'm claustrophobic? I wasn't too thrilled either when they told me I had to lie face down with one arm held out straight above my head, while a needle was stuck in the other pumping in the radiocontrast agent. Then, when the extremely loud thumping noise began I thought I'd gone to techno-hell!
Results will be in in about three days, but guess what? My physician has gone on vacation for two weeks, so I'm forced to live with the pain and the uncertainty until he get's back. Great.
I'm sorry for not being very cheery this morning, but I had to get up really early for additional blood tests on an empty stomach. I get really cranky when I haven't had my breakfast!
I promise I'll be in a better mood tomorrow. I'm a positive person! ☺☺☺☺☺☺

Ugh, the agony of waiting (not being sarcastic)! I hope the next two weeks at least pass quickly for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Duni,
ReplyDeleteHope everything will be fine for you. I'll put you in my prayer. Hope to see you in better mood tomorrow :-)
Have a nice day
Lots of luv,
Ita
I totally feel your pain, just going to the doctor causes an anxiety attack for me! Your frustration is totally understandable! It'll get better.
ReplyDeleteThere's always a doctor who takes over, so ring your own doc and let him order the other one to inform you.
ReplyDeleteI wish you strength while waiting.
Here's a hug for you :-) I hope everything will be fine.
ReplyDeleteI hope your results are good and in soon. Please keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteI know personally that waiting is so hard, but at least techno-hell is over :)
Awww Duni...sorry you had to go thru that! I too am claustrophobic, so I can understand. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments, you're the best! You take care now hun, and I'm thinking about you!
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds awful and now you have to wait on the results - that's just horrible! But hopefully you'll get answers which will make it worth waiting on. Take care Duni!
ReplyDeleteAwh, tests are no fun! Wish you well and hopefully you find your results sooner than later.

ReplyDeleteOh little one...I'm sorry you have to have this drag on until the Dr. decides to return his tail and let you know what is going on! Why do doctors do that??? Grrr! In the meantime, I'm sending good thoughts and warm huggins..
ReplyDeleteDeanna :D

ReplyDelete@ Laane-
ReplyDeletethe problem is the regular doc isn't available either! This is a very small town and I don't have much choice of doctors...
I hope you feel
ReplyDeletea little better now!!!
Its never fun waiting on the results :(
I am happy you are a positive person you need that thought now !!
Take care Duni
I think on you every day :)
It sucks when the doctor takes off on vaca when it means waiting like that...it happened recently with a friend of mine who's doctor took off right before her baby was due, leaving her with his nurse.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything comes back ok and that you start feeling better soon!
I'm sorry your MRI experience wasn't a good one. Not that mine was a cakewalk - I'm wiggly by nature and staying perfectly still for 15 minutes was killer for me! Fortunately they gave me headphones and let me listen to the radio to keep my mind off of the whole laying still thing. And they had to take images of my ankle so I wasn't engulfed in the machine, only up to my knee or so.
