It's another gorgeous day today, so we decided to visit the annual artisan's market held at a nearby castle/chateau (Schloss Raesfeld). Here are a few impressions...
Entrance to castle
market includes woodworking, glassblowing, stamp carving, textile products, floral arrangements, handmade papergoods and lots more
silk scarves and felted products
the moat around the castle
popular bike trail beneath the trees
We had a yummy (and heavy) lunch at the restaurant located inside the castle and went for a walk along the many paths afterwards. Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing a bit of my part of the world! Until next time!

Beautiful castle! Why didn't you vend there? Your economy has to be better than ours. Your euro is certainly worth more than the dollar! I won't be vending at shows this year...just not worth the expense compared to meager sales at shows right now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I'd love to live around that.
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of day. What a fabulous place to hold such an event. The castle is beautiful
