Well, looks like I'm not going to get my sewing machine back in a while. Apparently the spare part that the repair shop is waiting for needs to be imported from Thailand. I am suffering sewing withdrawal! So...I've made an executive decision and purchased a new one :)
Meine Nähmaschine ist immer noch in der Werkstatt. So wie's aussieht warten die auf ein Ersatzteil, dass aus Thailand importiert werden muß. Das kann ja noch Wochen dauern. Also, mir reicht's. Nach einer ausführlichen Beratung habe ich gestern eine neue Maschine bestellt. Nächste Woche wird sie geliefert. *freu*
Freuen tue ich mich auch über meine neuen LeserInnen Christinchen, Fräulein Vintage und Carli. Schön, dass ihr zu mir gefunden habt. Nice to meet you ladies!

I always have 2 machines--sometimes 3. Each has their own benefits, but the best being that I can actually sew when one is in the shop!
ReplyDeleteThe last time I brought mine in for repairs, the lady behind me told the guy that she was in a hurry to get hers fixed. Yeah, me too. Really? When AREN'T you in a hurry to get your machine fixed??? Sheesh.
I think you made the right executive decision! Now you'll always have a spare so won't be without again! I really like that treasury too!
