I hope my US readers enjoyed their long weekend! I'm kicking off my moodboard for July with this month's birthstone: Ruby. This gem comes in a variety of reds, from pinkish red to vivid dark red and maroon. It is said to arouse the senses and stir the imagination...:) Whatever qualities it may have it is definitely an exquisite gemstone!

Guten Morgen, liebe Duni,

ReplyDeleteGreat moodboard and a stunning colour. I used to have a red cat named Ruby, such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the ruby-tipped hair.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Duni,

ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of the Ruby inspired items! I have my grandma's inherited ruby ring( which I cherish so much ... and it is perfect for Christmas in July!!!!!
Love this color!!! Amazing finds. I espeically love the necklace.
ReplyDeletePretty ruby finds! The chandelier photo is so romantic.
ReplyDeleteRuby is such a pretty color and your finds are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing the shop Henna King! I've been wanting to color my hair but with the pregnancy can't use traditional dyes. Will have to check with my doctor about these :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color! I love the mix of items.
ReplyDeleteTo me, this is too dark a color for this time of year. The ruby is my son's birthstone and that, along with my daughter's stone (May)--it looks like Christmas when I wear them together. :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful board Duni! Love this color and stone
ReplyDeletelove your moodboards! such an interesting variety here!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is a Ruby, so I've always loved them. Love that ring!
ReplyDeleteI think rubies are so dramatic! That necklace is very pretty. It would've been perfect to wear last week for Independence Day!
ReplyDeleteWow, that ring is beautiful! I love simple jewelry, and that ring is perfect. My grandmother was actually born in July, so her gemstone--as you stated--is the ruby. I think she really likes it. I've always been attracted to jewel tones (I was born in May, so my birthstone is the emerald), but my favorite has to be sapphire.
