Okay, so the Blogger site was down several hours yesterday preventing me from writing a new blog post (not this one) or commenting on other blogs. Now that hasn't happened for a long time - the server being down, I mean. Plus it seems Photobucket had (still has) some technical issues, resulting in my about image and social media icons not loading. I sat there feeling increasingly frustrated until I realized I was wasting energy on something I wouldn't be able to solve anyway. I do have a tendency to get worked up about some things I can't change. I guess that's one of the downsides of working alone - there's nobody there to remind me not to worry about trivial things! So...deep breaths and fingers crossed that all will be resolved soon :)

Hallo liebe Duni,
You're absolutely right! I get caught up in the small stuff all the time, but all of that energy I waste worrying is better spent on something else. :-) Sometimes Wordpress gives me trouble, so I walk away from the computer and do another task for a while.
ReplyDeleteso true, Duni!
ReplyDeletelovely photo!
Great reminder! I know what you mean when technical difficulties arise. I experience this with all the sites I sell on from time to time as well as social media. When it happens I make sure to change tasks for a couple of hours so my frustration level does not go up!
ReplyDeleteJust like you, I get lost in the details too much and make myself crazy. Sometimes it's better to just walk away!
ReplyDeleteAch der liebe PC!!
ReplyDeleteDuni, das kostet Kraft, ja viel Kraft. Ich verzweifle da auch schnell.
Ich drück Dir die Daumen!!
Alles Liebe
ANi
Oh, a tendency to get worked up about things I can't change... I was doing that, myself, yesterday! I have to conciously take some time to remind myself that stressing won't change a thing when something is entirely beyond my control.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way, especially when it comes to the computer. Technology is great until it isn't!!
ReplyDeleteI get that way when it comes to anything related to the computer. I lived how many years without one and now a few hours of being cut off really throws me for a loop. I can't imagine what it would be like if I needed it for business purposes.
ReplyDeleteI started freaking out the other night because Photobucket was down. I finally told myself that even if it could potentially affect my business, this wasn't a real problem. Don't sweat the small stuff is great advice!
ReplyDeleteI get frustrated when things are down so this is a good reminder. Lovely flowers too!
ReplyDeleteOh, you are human! No worries...we all do that stuff. :)
ReplyDeletehow frustrating! hope it all works out quickly!
ReplyDeleteHi D. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I get so annoyed when I have planned to do something and then for some reason that I am not in control of doesn't allow me to do it but you are right we have to let go, and move on to other things :)
Cheers, T. :)
