First, it took me forever to download some of these pics from Etsy. I was thinking it was my computer, but then I realized the photo format on Etsy has changed. Many are now .png files. Also, it seems the file size limit has been reduced. Anyone else on Etsy notice this? It sure puts a damper on curating mood boards. Anyway, cacti are still trending this season - they are everywhere from prints to crafts! Plus they remind me of my maternal grandmother who used to cultivate a whole bunch of colorful cacti. I wish I had inherited her green thumb ;-)

Love these. They remind me of my maternal grandmother too. She used to have a table full of cacti in front of window in her kitchen. I remember being fascinated by how soft they look. I discovered the hard way that even though they looked soft, petting them was not a good idea :)

What a fun mood board! Cacti are really neat. I bet you can keep cacti alive in your home. I had a small cactus houseplant when I was in my teens. It rarely needed water and just kept living.
ReplyDeleteI thought something was funny with Etsy photos. When I try to save one of my pictures from Etsy to my computer it comes out pixilated.
Val, try resizing your images to around 500 pixels. See if that works?
DeleteI haven't tried to save or upload any photos since the new Etsy pictures format went into effect. It's so hard to keep up with all their changes! I love ether sweet Peter Pan collar on the dress.
ReplyDeleteWoah that cacti fabric is especially gorgeous. I *LOVE* propogating cacti & succulents. If I didn't hold back my home would be filled to the brim with them, haha.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is adorable! I don't have much experience with cacti but my mom has some in her yard in Vegas. They're fun to see in the desert landscape.

Früher mochte ich diese Pflanzen übrigens überhaupt nicht.
Nun sehe ich sie überall, und auf einmal bin ich begeistert. :-) Gibt es das?!? ;-)
